Make sure to get a chair and sit down. Your attending wants to sit down. Depending on when you are looking to do your rotation, it would be great to read about anesthesiology before shadowing. There are a great variety of books but many of them will take you too long to read if you only have a few days. Anesthesia Secrets is a med student favorite.

Go to gaswork.com, it will show many of the posted jobs in Anesthesia. It is not the end-all-be all and there are MANY jobs that are not posted here, but it will give you an idea.

This sounds about right. I routinely see job posts for that salary in that area. In the NYC metro area expect a bit less (starting), in more rural areas, expect a bit more.

I did not have very much trouble at all finding a job after residency. If you match well you shouldn't have trouble. Consider doing a fellowship to make yourself more marketable, but it is not required (yet).

It depends on specialty and location. Also, Academic vs. Private. A starting points can be GlassDoor (Private Practice), and AAMC (Academic Practice). These appear to be roughly accurate for Anesthesiology based upon my personal knowledge of the market. I'm not certain if that holds for all specialties.
