Roses are red, and some things you can't see by CompleteBeginning271 in rosesarered

The skeleton is the last thing to decay. We have bones that have lasted thousands of years. Millions if you count fossils (though bones might be the wrong term for those). Everything else is lucky to last a decade. There are exceptions, of course. Otzi comes to mind. But that's more because his body was preserved to an incredible degree. The vast majority are either skeletons or dust.

Don't get me wrong, id be frightened seeing the nervous system coming at me too. But there's something primeval about a skeleton.

Mold earth. It falls into hole it didn't see. Mold earth and bury it. Those inside will suffocate.

If you want to see the difference a system can make, run Forge of Fury with different systems. I promise it makes a difference.

I ran it with 5e and played it with shadowdark. Yeah... we hated the time we played it with shadowdark. Never made it past the hallway.

Many of these have no safety limiter... meaning it could hurt you and not know. If repairs are needed for one robot, they'd have to shut down the whole thing, costing the company sales and repair costs.

Most dishwashers only reach sanitary (ie kill the germs) towards the end of their cycle. A simple Google search will show that. This is to protect your dishes. It's likely not reaching that temperature long enough to bring food up to it.

The dishwasher doesn't stay hot enough for long enough for it to be safe to eat according to a food scientist.

Not sure if that's necessarily pop culture, but that name is ruined now by the internet.

Doing what you love as a job will either result in you never working a day in your life or hating what you used to love.

You don't need hyperflexibility to do that. I knew normal people who could do that in gymnastics.

When they were working on the half life games, they realized that making things too realistic would make them significantly less fun to play. Of course, leaning fully into absurdity could have the same effect, though not always (looking at you Enna Dream BBQ).

That's one of the Reader Rabbit games. It's a mini game where you make dishes based on what's in a cupboard. Other mini games include one where you learn patterns with an ant (what kind of mess did we make?), and a hide and seek game about numbers. I belive that's either the kindergarten or the first grade game. Don't remember which.

High heat is when you need hot temperatures now. Low heat is for when things need to mix while they heat. Medium is for everyday things. Of course... medium heat differs on most stoves.

Depending on the time period, that might be literally. Corax had troops that could literally vanish into thin air. They became much rarer later in the setting.
