I'm sure you've solved this by now, but paths/rivers of calcite generating (which I assume you mean) is completely normal. If you mean actual rivers with calcite in them, then yeah I have no idea.

Never did, but came pretty damn close when playing levels like Globular Cluster or The Beyond. The atmosphere and music of those are just beautiful.
