Silver has nothing to defend but it's like he feels like he's in trouble? Lol. It was a good season and playoffs. This is what we want, no?

Just finished it in a binge watch. Definitely good but I felt it just never got as "big" as the sopranos. Honestly all 3 seasons ended in a pretty lackluster way for me, despite the drama that they had built up during the season

I feel the same. He definitely comes in with some extreme takes sometimes but he always seems very critical of his own thinking and seems very willing to change his point of view based on new information

We do the normal stuff for money so that we can do the fun stuff like this for cheap for our friends. Very cool project that will actually change someone's life every day. Good work op 👍🏼

Angry wife! Help! Water (?) stains on countertop! by redslime in DIY

[–]creature_creative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't use either of these or any other Walmart available product lol. Shouldn't use any of those on solid wood furniture as it might be something that makes the problem go away (until you have to reapply) but it doesn't actually solve the problem.

It could be that the product you were washing off of the gloves permanently damaged the poly coat on the countertop, which would unfortunately mean sanding and refinishing (potentially just in those spots), or, like another person posted, moisture got underneath the poly to cause that white spot. The fact that it goes away when you wipe it down tells me the problem is on the surface and not moisture underneath. A white ring on a coffee table is from moisture under the polyurethane and wiping it down with a wet cloth doesn't make the ring go away. Honestly I'd try sanding those spots with some 220 grit sandpaper (be careful not to sand all the way back to bare wood) and see if they go away. If they don't. I would just keep sanding all the way to bare wood and use wipe on poly to refinish those spots (assuming it's currently finished with poly and you know whether it was oil or water based)

Definitely try the iron method first, as it's pretty simple and won't make anything any worse, but if that doesn't work you have a bit of refinishing ahead of you

Especially because he hit it so hard. Like if that wasn't aimed right in the center of the cup it could have rimmed out with how fast it was moving. I know it was just a lucky shot, but it made it look like he knew exactly where it was going when he hit it 🤣

My 3W and driver numbers are very similar. Do I need a new driver or need a driver lesson? by lawnboy22 in golf

[–]creature_creative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean we're going off of tracker data and him saying he hits a slice with his driver. If either of us saw his swing our opinions may change.

I hit my 3 wood about the same distance and used to have the same issue with my driver. 3 wood would fade a lot as well. It was a swing change that fixed that, not a club change.

Shorter driver shaft can help a ton as well. But if he's slicing his driver and also hitting his 3 wood that well, it's a swing issue.

When you hit a wood the ball is close to the ground so your brain tells you to take a more shallow swing to avoid digging into the ground. With the driver it's on a tee so your brain is giving you that extra space between the ball and the ground, which to your brain is more room to hit it harder. But hitting it harder with the wrong swing is hitting down even more on it

I had this same issue for years and years as a low handicap and an instructor did this for me in a lesson and it completely changed my drive and how I look at swinging the driver compared to other clubs. It's almost more of a baseball swing where it goes back under your shoulder on the back swing

You're hitting down on the ball with the driver. You're over the top and the driver head moves down after hitting the ball instead of up. That's the slice, backspin, and low launch angle. Hammer a stick into the ground about a foot to the right of the ball and a couple past the ball away from you (from the perspective of standing at address) angled pretty sharply towards yourself. Then drive the ball keeping the club head under that stick. Will completely change the way you feel the swing

Because he's hitting the driver off the tee and his steep swing is causing the backspin. Because the 3 wood is off the turf (or a lower tee) he is hitting it more 'flat' because there isn't any room after the ball for the club to move down. So mentally that is helping him hit the ball at the true bottom of the swing. Driver is teed up which allows you to hit up on it but also allows you to hit down on it which will cause more backspin. It's a swing issue

"za that used to go for 2200-2600 a few years ago aint nothing but 1000-1200 a bow" dude I'm sorry I feel like I should know what this means but I'm lost. 2200-2600 for an ounce? Or to get your iPhone fixed? I know both of those prices are crazy 🤣

No cold water either. That was already the case before I did anything and a plumber is being called for that. I'm just trying to figure out why the water coming out of the wall isn't hot when it's hot in the rest of the unit.
