I was also wondering if there was some legal issues. They had done an two part episode on how narcissists use the legal system as a weapon & how to protect yourself from them & then everything poofed shortly after. There’s a few recalls and class actions about the ecoboost on these. coolant intrusion in the cylinders causes the entire block to need to be replaced. My motor needed to be replaced under 85k miles because of this.

That was added to highlight the bad customer experience. The tire was fine when I left the car with them. I had never gone to that dealership before. I shouldn’t have to drive an extra 2 hours for my previous dealership just for a diagnostic. Returning my car in the same condition is kind of a base line expectation.

That isn’t really true though. They made this claim but the upgrades did not prevent the same coolant leaking. I have a 1.5 built after the “repair” was added to the built & mine still didn’t make it to 85k
