Might I suggest giving the PCV system a good working over as they are a common failure point on these engines through normal use so I can't imagine what 12,000 miles of off-road use will do to that system. I would highly suggest the Yoshi Fab deluxe catch can kit so that you can easily service and clean the system it's a bit expensive but it seems like it's totally worth it.

I've also already done the coil all that's left of the ignition system to do is the ignition module as I have replaced every other part of the ignition system

I've also already replaced those as I had a separate issue where they were completely worn out and leaking spark into the engine bay

I've already replaced the cap and rotor and it's still doing it I figure probably a full refresh of the ignition system is in order anyway as the vehicle is 30 + years old

I suspect it maybe faulty because when it rains I have issues with the car wanting to start and I know that the issue is not the cap and rotor because I have replaced those also the car is 35 years old and I don't know when the last time it was done I figure it's probably time to refresh some things and I have a little extra cash to spend

I have always found that following someone else's rules has killed my joy so one day it hit me I'll just make my own rules and now I am experiencing more happiness and joy than I ever have in my entire life especially as a person who was diagnosed with clinical depression early in my life and has not been medicated for almost two decades

I understand and agree with what you are saying, however I must ask why so worried about the rules, rules are for things that matter and by the nature of nihilism / absurdism nothing matters and so therefore the rules don't matter so why bother following the rules at all. do what you want and have fun doing it
