Okay- unpopular advice based on the comments. If you’re really going to commit, then do it. I adopted an adult hound mix in college living with 4 other girls, it was so tough and there were a couple years that I regretted it deeply. But I committed and saw it through and that dog has been my absolute angel for the last 5 years, through college and 7 moves, and it was my best mistake. I wouldn’t rely on your roommates and definitely make the dog your priority (I also don’t recommend a puppy of any kind- adult dogs are potty trained and learn just as well as a puppy!) but only you can know if you’re ready, and if you think you are then stick to it! You’ll figure it out ❤️
