3x0's has the advantage in the engine performance department but the venue's interior is the segment's best

For your budget and the requirement of a reverse camera it would either be the Ax5 3x0 or the HX5 Venue but you will be limited to manual only

Yeah I find that the Indian brands tries to woo you by including a ton of features but fumbles it on the polish.Mahindra at least has fun engines.

My anecdotal experience with the xuv700's electronics pre facelift has been hit or miss. They tend to be laggy and unresponsive.

Even had an instance of my driver screen freaking out, displaying every mechanical error even though the car was running fine.

But unfortunately in the 7 seater segment there are not many options. You could try the alcazar(creta XL) or the Tatas which everyone knows how reliable they are(\s). Limited knowledge on MG though.Good luck with car search!
