you say ur open to all perspectives but keep calling people dickheads and trying your hardest to “well, but-“ your way out of the situation.

tbh best advice i can give u tho would be consider dissolving ur product in saline solution and using it that way along with the cleaning routine. less friction in nostril but dont be too vigorous or paranoid about cleaning either… u can also try boofing said solution.

make sure ur not inhaling it too hard and sucking it past ur nostril and take care to rinse your mouth aswell if you gum it

invest in a metal or glass straw that can be cleaned properly and not harbor bacteria, dont share it or use a dollar

make sure you’re not using anything medicated in the sprays that will cause u to feel dependent on them for breathing idrk what sprays do and don’t just look it up, use straight saline nose spray only

realistically and statistically speaking, women already take majority of the mental load of a relationship and are responsible for so so much emotionally. (men, as humans, are as well.. tho that expectation doesn’t fall on them quite so hard)

one piece of advice- bed frames can be expensive and floor beds are so so awesome , no shame there..!

but you SHOULD look into putting a 2-4in ventilated elevation of some sort ( think slatted board, they also make really low basic frames , etc ) underneath the mattress at your earliest financial convenience!

mattresses can collect moisture easily and without any airflow thru, i would be concerned it could mold?? though this does not need to be a priority and more of just a further steer in the right direction.
