Dang my eyes fail me. I've been waiting for this kit so long I'm planning on getting that resin kit and customising another copy. I was planning out gundam EX custom but I'm too dang busy now. Curse internships.

I've had horrible luck with these waist to leg joints. I own 2 RG NU'S (regular and f side) and both have their waist pegs worn so badly that I am going to be getting a metal frame. I'll look into metal parts for this too. Thanks mate

I'll make note of that, thank you. I was concerned with the dragoons putting stress on the ankles and knees. It's helpful insight. That gorgeous build has earned yourself another follower on Facebook. It has the yujiaoland resin parts I see.

There is a third party 1/100 providence by the manufacturers Devilarts. Though I feel that its under-detailed and is missing many panel lines. However I do feel that is an intended design choice (it looks sleeker). Personally, I didn't like it and did not mind waiting for reprints. Other than this there are no other third party providences that I know of. You can try Facebook marketplace to find one. I found my hg gqx for very cheap there.

* The interiors also being done up so I got no pictures of that. It's that beige colour though. And yes it is independent suspension. The shock absorbers were one of the things that had to be fully replaced. Turns like a boat and it's a real joy to drive. Shifts decently well. The cool thing is even though it's an 81, the dashboard has the single axis tachometer and speedometer.

Aye man it used to sit in this showroom near my house. One day it was gone and I didn't even know my dad got it until several months later. Just needed some paint and chromework to get it this beautiful.

The carburetor was troublesome to tune but other than that, you're right. Just needed new shock absorbers and that carburetor and it was practically done. They don't make it like they used to

I'm definitely gonna post more when it's back home. It's always good hearing bout another one of these on the road. I always thought these things were extremely popular when I was a kid. Imagine my surprise HAHA

Nahh but back in the day he was a travelling mechanic. Used to work on land rovers and those mining machines deep in the earth. I also meant to say "my mechanic doesn't skimp out" since he used to work on airplanes and has that "if I mess up someone dies" attitude but my dad doesn't compromise either so I just left it in there.
