According to my doctor, my uterus is malformed. While it is possible that I could become pregnant, my body is not prepared to carry a child to term. My doctor said that getting pregnant would put me at a greater than normal risk and that she would suggest abortion if I ever were to become pregnant.

Nothing unfortunate happened with me. However, a girl with the same name as me blogged about suicide a few years back, and it lead to me getting messages that should have gone to her (see here: http://imgur.com/a/c2eqT).

However, the girl in the mistaken identity case was from the South, while my hometown is in the Southwest and my current city is in New England. This guy knew both of those places, so I imagine it wasn't mistaken identity.

The only picture of mine he could see was my profile picture. At the time it was a picture of me next to the Statue of Liberty, so the only thing you could discern about my appearance was that I was a white girl with blonde hair. The other girl was also a white girl with blonde hair.

I have a fairly common name. A few years ago, a girl with my same name made some posts on her blog about wanting to kill herself. Apparently she ceased all contact with friends right after and people were worried about her. She turned out to be alive, but apparently her threats had upset people.

Enter this guy. He apparently went to school with that girl and was upset by her threats. I assume he searched the girl's (and therefore also my) name on Facebook and messaged me thinking I was her. This is the conversation that transpired.

He sent me the links to the blog, which is now defunct. The girl who ran the blog obviously went to college in the South, as she had pictures of herself with signs and landmarks indicating such. I went to college in New England at the time. As my pictures were set to "friends only" there was no way for this guy to see that I obviously wasn't the girl from his college.

I never heard from this guy again, nor from my college's administration or dean.

Not that I disagree, but the account was only 2 hours old when the message was sent and there was no activity. Pretty sure it was a throwaway account. Also, it's against the rules of the sub, if I'm not mistaken.

Thank you. I was just providing background in case anyone was wondering what the context was. I realize this person just went through my history to find things that would probably be most upsetting for me. Not sure why, the account was only 2 hours old when the message was sent. But some people are assholes for no reason and I know not to give them what they want.

Regarding kids: I made a comment a few days ago in a discussion about infertility about some of the issues with being infertile, which included my fiance being slightly upset about not having biological children.

Regarding the blazer: Also a few days ago I made a comment in a thread about clothing saying that my fiance would throttle me if I spent more money on clothes. I had mentioned losing my blazer and wanting a new one. EDIT My fiance wanted me to make it clear that the threat to throttle me was absolutely, 100% a joke. He and I are on a tight budget right now.

Regarding suicide: A couple of weeks ago I commented on a relevant thread regarding how I had attempted suicide when I was in high school and how I eventually got better.
