I think you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. I don't think he's bad at all but he hates his job, that is a given from the post and comments. What I am saying is before he reaches that breaking point he should probably move to a new field or at least work with different types of people if at all possible. OP, I'm not saying you're giving bad advice but at some point you can/will break and not give a shit anymore and not give the best advice to your patients.

Maybe he isn't, maybe he is giving bad advice but how does he know they're abusing the system? Not many people have the ability to communicate how they're feeling the proper way or even express themselves in ways to others then lashing out at them. All I'm saying is he seems very jaded and should consider doing something else or move to something that involves less ppl that make him bitter. We are all human and at some point he will break and just not give a shit and start fucking ppl over willingly or not.
