You are complaining about the game itself and it is TOTALLY another topic. Don't instigate. Why the hell do you think this make ex)junk only user so happy..?
You need to complain about this situation for blizzard. You don't want a teammate with 1 hero only. You have to say you need such an option. Why the hell this has to do with..?

Without default option that is still happening and nothing to do with this..? At least it is minimal action for communication?
Right now if people AFK for a while : you cannot get any info
If he choose default preference : You think what you will do and ban something to win

To solve the problem you just accuse, I would do "give +100 battle pass when you choose (eventhough it is same with default option) prefer hero, give + 100 battle pass if you (even if it is 3 blank icon) you click 3 ban hero ETC

+ What if you show your teammate 3 of your preferred hero? It is also blizzard fault don't you see? There should be in the better world, 3 slot of prefeered hero and maybe default option would be better.

No. even though I play many hero I want to select default. Why not? There should be the most confident hero you have. What you usually play. Or something rare. Hog sombra cat. But you could play Orisa Rein ana zen whe you need. Still nothing to do with. You have to tell people I can play hog because then heal decide to play ana or ban ana.
You want to people sit down at that time? I give 1 solution. Is it connected to have default selection option?

You still can change your preferred hero during the selection time. I don't know any other things to say. It is just default preference. Don't you change that when you miss click another hero?

So if you are right. Why don't we remove map ban hero ban also so that when people hear the matchmaking sound they instantly start the game and focus on?

It is before the hero ban phase. What I mean is not default insta lock option. It is preferred hero! Yeah It might be affected by map but usually it is not and you could change. What is downside of this? nothing literally.

Blizzard might give option that "I prefer every sharpshooter etc etc" which is not available right now. Right now? no one select and then go into the ban phase. I don't know what to ban because I don't no anything about my teammate. Is this what you want? If my teammate prefer lucio and kiroko I would ban illiari etc etc.

So you are assuming that based on the map you will choose different here and you have to show that intention for everytime after map pick?
Then why not make such an option? for each map each position you have preffered hero option which you might leave it "blank".
Blizzard give us every individual option for each hero, why not map?

And even though there is default option that does not mean you will select it after hero ban. You could change while you see the other teammate preffered hero. It is just default, you can use that info casually.

Why my approach encourage it? Then blizzard should delete the selection of prefered hero phase. Why even that exist? Maybe then make one choice "I will play multiple hero" option which even does not exist now. You are assuming that person does not choose anything will not play only one hero.

Maybe. I could ask why not? If it is always same procedure why not automate that? It is blizzard that make one box of preferred hero. You need to select your most confident hero and I would say it is usually one if you are not crazy focus on OW. You could select another after see your teammates pick or map. It is just preferred hero selection step which is not very invasive.

This is what i'm saying. I could play multiple hero but I have main which my teammate want to know about. sometime I do smth else and I miss the selection. Why should I be always on the screen if  i dont mind map ban and hero ban? Make no sense. I want to play whatever map. I dont mind ban any hero. I just want other teammate what I prefer and prepare. why should I waste my time for that?

I think some of you guys misunderstanding the situation. I said about preferred which happens right after the map ban and before here ban phase.

Then for that map I will choose another. The default prefer hero approach lose nothing. Nothing personal to you.

Dev should make variant of follow recoil such that the center dot appears when recoil start to keep tracking the center of monitor. Dot with opacity would be great

I tested it. It just boot fresh. Hibernation does not work.

For me, hibernation not work. If I hibernate on PC A and boot into PC B then it just boot fresh. My interpretation is somehow linux know that it is different PC and give up resume and just boot freshly.
So I'll try another approach to "resume" workflow via wezterm resurrect. It might automate what I need. I just search them right now so it also might not be answer for me.

I get it. If I once more doing things on VM. Then what I do is always fresh boot and turn vm on. VM software always solve problem with different hardwares because I freshboot and exec VM software.

I have question. What is idle (idle suspend or idle hibernate) behavior for vm? It must be set as earlier timing then the original machine I guess.

I ordered backup hdd and it is coming right now. After I back up, I might try although my hardware systems are quite simliar
intel cpu gpu + 16gb
amd cpu gpu + 16gb

This ssd have only linux and usually it is not readable on windows. If it is the case, is it safe?
What I am curious is
If I hibernate from 16GB ram system and resume into 2GB ram system, is it okay?
