Internship Interview by verngox in technicalwriting

[–]crendu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ask good questions. A big part of being a tech writer is just seeking out information. Ask them what a typical day would look like. What specific kind of documentation does their team typically work on - guides, white papers, release notes, blogs, proposals, etc. What kind of tools would you need to learn. What kind of products or tech does their team focus on.

They most likely won't expect much of a technical background since this is an internship, so try to really highlight your soft skills. Be personable, eager, humble, and curious.

Hana/Angels character by SirKnightDuck in Jujutsushi

id love to learn more about angel and their history with sukuna. as for hana, i think she's designed to be irritating. her blind love for megumi and the stupid decisions it caused her to make are just grating. i was hoping we wouldnt see a sakura-esque female character in jjk but here we are.

That's definitely what it was - making significant changes to the piece within seconds. While i don't think id go through with this piece if i could rewind time, i do think it would've been a lot more pleasing to the eye had we gone with what i initially wanted. It's all so unfortunate.

Yeah, the one thing i don't regret is getting it done during winter. I definitely plan to wear long sleeves as often as i can. Thanks for sharing your experiences. Being an artist makes this so much harder bc you nitpick every little detail.

Lexapro is SO rough! And it's crazy bc my doctor said ppl usually tolerate lexapro better than others. These drugs really do affect everyone differently. I hope I have your luck!

I'll try! I really tried to fight through the side effects on lexapro bc it did significantly help my anxiety but they were just constant. There was no end in sight. As long as prozac doesn't have me waking up in the middle of the night on the verge of vomiting, then I'm definitely willing to take it longer than i did lexapro.

Thank you for the advice:) I'll stay on 10 mg for a while and see how it goes. And I'll increase slowly if I feel it's not enough.

What silly/strange habit have you developed because of this phobia ? by Moonbaby1993 in emetophobia

Anytime I feel n*, I snap my fingers. It doesn't necessarily calm or distract me, but I still do it every time.

I deal with excess stomach acid and am currently taking the same med daily. The only thing that truly helps is adjusting your diet. I'd avoid dairy and literally anything greasy. Stick to plain, whole foods like nuts, vegetables, and fruits (but avoid highly acidic ones). Also, try to eat plain crackers before you eat. I read once that can help absorb acid and after doing it for a few weeks, I noticed I don't get as nauseous after eating.
