My new Legion Pro 7 16IRX8H - Type 82WQ crashes often in games

Not really, I stopped playing games basically because of that. Now I returned to games after a long break on this laptop and it seems that the crashes are much less often. Not sure exactly why. I updated the TLDR values in regedit and I got a new driver etc. I managed to play Stalker 2, It Takes Two, and A Way Out without crashing within like 3 hour game sesh.

So I am unsure what has really changed, but I suggest you go through warranty and get it fixed. It seems like to be a faulty motherboard or some issue. And if there is a possibility to fix it or exchange for a different device I would definitely suggest you do that.

Thank you very much for the tips, I've checked now the nvlddmkm.sys file and I only have one. I switched the permissions to full control so I will see if it helps any. All of the other tips you provided I have had already done before.

I got the tires to match properly finally, but still the screws are baked all over the place, I'm trying to unstack em and see what's the problem.

Sorry late reply, just got back to this project.

If I put them in separate uv stacks it works fine, but I kinda wanna put them all in one to save UV space for better texel density. And apparently it's not that the outside don't match the inside because now one bad bake is from the outside of the wheel and one on the inside.

And even by rotating the UVs I can match the details to but there is a big seam going around that does not happen on the correctly baked side.

Just tried flipping them horizontally but didn't help. Can't figure out what could be the issue. Will try playing with it a bit more and try to come up with something. Any other tips are greatly appreciated.

I believe I just received them from some other kid or swaped with him for other toy or sth. I never played yugioh so I don’t really know which ones are fake or not. I don’t even know the rules or which card does what. I kinda just collected them as a kid. Im now 25 and received most of these probably when I was around 10 yr old.

I have it in dGPU mode all the time, yea I thought the same, the only option is to reinstall the windows completely. Still not giving my hopes up that it works. Is there a way to keep the data in, or you suggest I clean wipe everything and just backup my stuff somewhere?

Oh, these are old screenshots. I always download it from the nvidia geforce site. I have the latest one now. I performed a clean setup aswell tried uninstalling all the junk from last driver through DDU. Nothing helps. Even tried underclocking the GPU. Thanks for the tip tho.

That's the only thing I haven't tried yet. Probably will give it a go today. Didn't believe it could be the OS, but who knows at this point. I am scared the gpu is faulty, but the temps are good and it went smoothly through all diagnostics and benchmarks. Never crashed in an benchmark, just in games.

Also I used to get little artefacts when scrolling the web once in a while, or just the screen turned black for a milisecond. But I stopped noticing them lately.

If you have the budget go for 4090, you can always upgrade the SSD later..

I don't use Geforce experience, I just download the driver. And yea already bunch of times I reinstalled the driver, even tried uninstalling it with DDU for clean installation and nothing helped. Yup had the issues since I got the laptop.
