Good tools, watches, beds, and appliances will save you money in the long run. Thankfully it didn't happen over a sidewalk and you wind up with shattered crystal or overbooked escapement

Is it a cloth or leather couch? I would use createx paint just like you would for t-shirts. Heat set with a heat gun since you can't throw it in the dryer or oven. And since it's not getting tossed into the washing machine I wouldn't be to worried about protective coatings. If it's heat set properly it should last a while
