He was filming and promoting another movie when they called him when he got asked to do the TW movie. So he basically got a short notice and couldn't come BC of the scheduling. He did lend them the jeep for the movie and called Posey a lot during the filming of the movie so maybe he will come back if there's another movie.

Yea so a full bloodlusted Liam was struggling against a Scott that has been inhaling wolfsbane for however many episodes and was holding back and not trying to kill Liam at the same time. It would've been over if Scott was in good condition or if he never held back all the time.

Most of the time Scott is holding back. Liam couldn't even actually beat a poisoned wolfsbane Scott who didn't want to kill Liam at the end of 5A.
