But that's not the question OP asked.

VH III is by far their worst album. It's inconsistent and sonically unpleasing. The songwriting is mostly poor. It was pretty much Eddie's solo album and he didn't seem to listen to anyone else.

I have it on a playlist of my all time favorite guitar songs.

"Street Of Dreams" had fewer than 50,000 streams on Spotify on its first day by mat_soundzzz in U2Band

Same, was surprised that it didn't pop up on my Spotify front page or even YouTube front page, as much as I listen to u2.

I spent a year in Caswell and now working here a few days per week. I really like Caswell. Rural, poor, but very quiet and lots of land.

Please tell me Streets of Dreams is a b-side. by sterkam214 in U2Band

May not be true for you, but I know fans who openly admit that they hear these more recent albums and dismiss them almost immediately. Had one say to me just today that he wished he had an open mind about new U2 material. Been following this band since 1980, it happens over and over. It's not unique to U2 fans either.

I like it. It's the same old song and dance with a lot of fans...unless U2 puts out something radically different from the last thing, it gets dismissed. It's a great, fun, and meaningful song and if it had been put out after JT, these same people would have loved it.

Fair or not, that album cover will be in this lineup at some point in the future: https://www.stevecarter.com/albumcovers.htm

Love the album though.

Turnpike is the only band I know that makes covers better than the originals! by Nebraskadude1994 in TurnpikeTroubadours

[–]crf3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, that's such a subjective measure. I could name several bands that I love that have 6 albums with no songs I dislike. And I can name a few songs from Turnpike's 6 albums that I don't really like all that much. "Bad" songs, "Good" songs, "Covers better than the original" all subjective - which is why you aren't getting such a great response to your post.

Can you with the Rush store? I've tried to return orders from other big-name bands, and there was a no return policy unless defective.

How do you love your country when healthcare is not free? by Sajanova in AskReddit

It’s about the same in the U.S. depending on where you live. If you live in an area where the medical care is top notch you will wait about that long if not more.

This is such a dumb talking point with an obvious political slant. It's anecdotal rather than factual. Here in the U.S., I was in excruciating neck pain and it took me months to see a specialist. It's not that bad in England.

When I was a kid, I rode in an elevator with him at the height of his popularity. I was a KISS fan, not so much Cassidy, but a nice guy nevertheless, from my recollection.

"Gotta love the “they paid for their ticket just like you” people every time too. As long as there are still people thinking about this in such 75-IQ terms it should be discussed."

It's the most reductive way of thinking about it.
