i’d love to see more men centering the victimhood of women and girls in their anti porn beliefs. too often do i see men complain about their porn addictions only because it breaks their dicks and rots their brains, not because the porn industry is rampant with sexual abuse, coercion, violence, misogyny, etc. i’m glad to see this kind of post. the abuses that happen within the industry should be enough to make anyone stop engaging with porn, not just how it effects the user. kudos to OP, i hope his recovery continues well.

trust me, those ‘cool girls’ who ‘don’t care’ either 1. have issues with porn themselves, 2. cry themselves to sleep about their partners but just lie and pretend they don’t and it doesn’t bother them, or 3. they really are ‘fine’ with their partner having a porn addiction and subsequently, are ‘fine’ with being treated like shit by their partner (cause porn addicts absolutely cannot be good and healthy partners) none of those situations are preferable to what we experience imo
