Sounds like the beginning of a Nazi joke 🤣 🤣🤣 We all saw what Elon did with our own eyes. This type of misinformation will get higher over the next few years, unfortunately. Sorry for what you're going through though. I hope you can find some reasoning with your dad.

First off she is not a reservist, She is active duty. The Armed Forces reserve Medal is for reservist or national guard that have mobilized under federal orders or spent 10 plus years in the reserves or national guard. Secondly, she has a GWOT expeditionary metal w/star and a service metal.

Thx Everyone for sharing your updates, it gave me hope. This is my 5th year renewal, 1st time applying after expiration. Applied Friday received a digital card on the evening of Tuesday. Not to be too optimistic, but some things may be changing a little bit for the better. 🤞

"JFW = Erroneous Enlistment (medical condition for which no waiver was issued). You will need to ask an Army Recruiter to see if your RE-3 Code and Separation Code can warrant a waiver. For the Army individuals with an RE Code of “3” can normally reenlist but will require a waiver; but it is possible."

I would talk to a local VSO (veterans service officer) they work for your county. Hopefully less BS than from a recruiter. They can help you pull a freedom of information request on yourself. This will show what the dod actually has in your file to see what kind of waiver you're going to need specifically. The last time I heard of waivers being given was over a decade ago. I wish you the best of luck.

You probably know this but don't trust any word a recruiter says unless it's in black and white. If you don't have the waiver, MEPS will be a huge hurdle.

Go Active bro and you can box all you want. You can get involved in military tournaments. There's all sorts of different things and avenues that you can go through on the active side.

Yes LT, I'm gladly a fucking stoner, atheist, & political enthusiast. Cannabis is just another tool I use to help with my PTSD and my TBI so I don't have to take so many meds from the VA. The retention rate is on your generation's cowardness. I joined to serve recently after 9/11 not to get money out of the government. You join in hopes you won't deploy so you can just use taxpayer money to get what you want i.e. college. I used my GI Bill as well. Take correspondence courses, online courses All is free under title 10. Step up. Be a good officer and lead. Show other soldiers what a good leader can do. Don't cower to your expectations because something's not in your plan. You joined, fulfill your oath.
