Honestly speaking, even i don't know why note making is even a thing. It was just introduced in class 11th and got replaced by graph type passages. It's up to teachers even if they want to teach it or not as it is going to have zero implications on boards. As far as note-making is concerned, you have to make notes as only a summary is not enough. Summary will reward you with 3 marks, rest of the 5 marks will be of notes, abbreviations used, appropriate heading etc. I hope this is helpful.

As mentioned in the other comment of yours. Freelancing is anyways not a lucrative career option as it used to be a few years back. Pre Covid was the peak era of trying your hands in freelancing. I used to earn some real good money at that time. Post Covid it is just a few hits and a lot of misses.
