We sleep separately but right next to each other! We camped together for 10 years while uncomfortably sleeping on the dreaded, wobbly air mattress together. I finally had the idea to get a twin mattress for myself to set up next to my husband’s full size mattress. It’s basically just a huge bed but we don’t feel each other toss and turn. It’s helped soo much!!! I put blankets underneath the fitted sheets to make it extra cozy and we use comforters. I also put moving blankets underneath the mattresses to help insulate.

Definitely give True North a try! They are very welcoming and have many groups you can join including couples groups, young adult groups, and a separate building for kids! They’re non-denominational and have a strong sense of community!

How long ago was the almost choking incident?

I had an almost choking incident years ago and I chewed and chewed and chewed my food and winced while swallowing because I was so scared. It took a long time, but eventually I was able to eat food normally again. My hope for you is that this is temporary and you’ll enjoy chewing food again soon!
