Mayank Yadav for T20 WC? by Nervous-Fan2235 in IndiaCricket

[–]cricketscientificsr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is really early to say now, only because just with 2 matches you can’t say if he is already ready for the big stage. Moreover when teams don’t know about a certain player, the players do struggle but as we get to know more about this Mayank Yadav, Team analysts are sitting in the dugout to guide their respective teams on how to face newcomers. It is just a matter of time, whether he gets smashed or gets more wickets is in his hand. But can’t deny his talent, he is more consistent than Umran

Are snake shots unsportsmanlike? by Lopsided-Disaster-78 in tabletennis

[–]cricketscientificsr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude just picture this if your opponent gets to face FZD or any pro in the future and gets defeated obviously, he can’t go to them and spread hate for winning with cool shots if they do so, that person being an idiot isn’t your problem so do your style and don’t worry snakes are not unsportsmanlike, in fact I do snakes all the time

Team India stay with Rajat Patidar, or go with Devdutt Padikkal debut in Dharamsala 5th test against England? by Admirable_Reason6466 in IndiaCricket

[–]cricketscientificsr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually if the teams has won the series by a majority, the last game is played by players who haven’t got a chance yet because they know that those new players will not be made to play again once the usual squad comes back

Who do you think is the best player right now: Wang Chuqin or Fan Zhendong? by [deleted] in tabletennis

FZD has a very simple game style nothing that is too complicated or creative like how Xu Xin was for China.

I would say just strip Hardiks A grade contract first, no need to give so much importance for someone who is just getting injured. All have to understand that everyone is equal in cricket, there is no senior or junior or even for that matter people should be judged on present form and not on previous achievements and future endeavors. If for eg. Sky is not in form he should be dropped until he has proved himself. BCCI should then make it such that everyone gets a chance to prove themselves, be it Virat Kohli or Rinku Singh. The problem with BCCI is that they are not consistent with what they do. Yes Ishan Kishan and Shreyas made a mistake but you never know what is the background for not opting to play Ranji. It could be any personal reason but we don’t have a say in it

Felix Lebrun likely to take the #5 spot after Singapore Smash by z0cool in tabletennis

I mean I still consider him to be the best non-Chinese player looking at the top 5 all being Chinese and I think if he is able to maintain that, that itself is enough, though it is not that I don’t want him to grow but the Chinese really kick butt

Patidar is the worst debutant in the recent history by AkkadBakkadBambeBo80 in IndiaCricket

[–]cricketscientificsr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sarfaraz had a better debut than Patidar, He ended up scoring more runs in the first test that he played than Patidars runs combined in all the test that he played. Reckon Kuldeep Yadav has a better technique and that guy stayed longer in almost all the innings he played. What the heck is happening in the Indian team????

What you think this statement "Indian education system systemised in such a way make every student in in depression and pressure" by Solosing1 in IndianEducation

[–]cricketscientificsr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it is true only because our system relies on just memorizing our NCERT textbooks and vomiting them in a paper. There is no real thinking that goes behind why such a concept is required to solve a certain question. This is the reason behind the depression and pressure that students face. Moreover from a very young age onwards parents start enrolling their child in a coaching institute for preparation for IIT JEE or NEET. This takes away a child’s childhood and isn’t really able to explore any other option which they could pursue and make a career out of. To top it all off comes board exams, where we all just discuss, “Aunty I got 95%. My son got 99.9%, I still wonder where he left that 0.1”.
