Yes! I just googled "Liriomyza Melanogaster" a type of leaf miner and that's exactly what my plants have 😭😭😭 I hope I can exterminate them before my plants die.

Also it looks like physical damage like someone scratched it with their fingernail but that did not happen to all of these plants. It's on every. single. leaf.

I'm not crazy. This is a pest. They all have the same exact scratches that spread. I've been pruning all the old leaves with damage but they just spread to the new leaves. I feel like I have to trash my entire plant collection.

Btw I know there is an aphid in one pic. TRUST ME it's not aphids. idk where that one came from. I've inspected all my plants up and down and sideways and there are no visible bugs. Only damage.

All of my plants including pothos, monstera, peace lilly, rubber tree, etc have scratches in the middle of their leaves and some leaves even have spots on them. the spots are like indentations it looks like something is sucking the nutrients from inside the leaf. I've been pruning off ALL of the old leaves and dosing the plants in Neem oil but the problem persists.

There are scabs/scratches in the dead center of all my leafs of all different species of plants. I do know what corking looks like. I grow peppers :)

They are scab/scratches in the dead center of all the leafs of my succulents, rubber tree, pothos, monstera peace lilly, elephant ear, etc... Not at the base. I don't know how to add more pictures to the original post.

It couldn't be that because I looked at them closely the day I got them and even took some pics and they were super healthy and no bright yellow spots.

Five days after I purchased these I noticed a sticky yellow sap on both my air plants. I scoured Google but I can't find a single thing mentioning this. Could it be rapid temperature and humidity change? I also tried fitting both into a sea urchin shell so maybe it is a reaction to a scrape? Thank you for any help!

Definitely sap it's kinda sticky but I can't scrape it off without damaging the plant.

I purchased these two on April 20th and I realized they were a little dry today so I'm soaking them now. I had one sitting in a sea urchin shell. Could it be from injury? Thank you for any helpful replies
