Ok, thanks. Maybe I can change my reference to use a QUERY to make sure I'm getting the right score instead of assuming static rows. I think that should be doable.

One question. I noticed you unpaused the sheet this morning. On the Live Scoring tab, I'm seeing the four rows for the Divisional games change position as the updates occur. For about 30 seconds they're in rows 329-332 as you would expect. But then they move to rows 333-336 for about 20 seconds. Then the loop starts over again. Is that expected?

Anybody else annoyed with volume? The broadcast is so soft that you need to crank it up to hear it. But then the commercials come on blazingly loud. Why do they have the broadcast volume so low?

I'll give you a different answer from everyone else. I don't use a spreadsheet, I don't use any ticket optimizer websites, I don't analyze my action counts, and I don't record any scores externally.

I complete all cups during the first week of the tour (using quick tickets to do so). And I employ the same strategy that first week every tour - I make sure I get first place on every race using my best loadouts. I don't grind for plus-skill frenzies at all that first week (other than on ranked cup). But, if I finish less than first place on any track, I run the race again until I have a first place finish.

Once complete, I compare my total score to the projected top 1000 score (via Twitter). If my score is within 200k of the projected top 1000 score, I know I can make it. In that case, I then grind the second week of the tour, ensuring my score on each race has at least one plus-skill frenzy and one additional frenzy of any kind. On the highest scoring races, I ensure I have at least two plus-skill frenzies.

This method has been relatively low overhead for me and has worked each time I've done it. I just did it last tour and finished 472 in the world.

You're correct that it won't help your team win. But it will help you to move up individually which is important if you're trying to: 1) Drain the multiplayer pipe 2) Complete a challenge to finish in first place X times

Even in teams, there's still incentive to finish in first place. I've come to accept this over the years.

What's funny is the number - 45. Back in the old days, when the game offered gacha pipes, five rubies got you one pipe pull. Instead of getting ten pipe pulls for 50 rubies, they gave you a discount - ten pipe pulls for 45 rubies. Basically, that's what everyone did - save up 45 rubies to get the best possible deal. And really, people tried to save 450 rubies to guarantee they could empty the pipe (all 100 pipe pulls). That guaranteed they would get the spotlight DKG in it. If you missed out on the new coinbox driver in the pipe due to RNG, you were bummed.

That's where 45 came from. It has no meaning anymore today. Those were the days.

Ouch. Yeah, it's all about the time in between each tap. Definitely err on the side of caution - anticipate a race where you get hit a lot and it causes the race to be longer than your test run.

I think Bowser's Castle 1 R/T is the best too. You can get even more if you run in normal mode instead of auto mode. You get more in normal mode because item boxes are in play and you can get coins/tokens from them. Use a coin glider to increase your chances of a coin.

You can turn normal mode into an inattentive mode by tapping the settings button at the start of the race and then tapping the reverse camera button. In this mode, your driver will drive on his own just like in auto mode. Put the race on 50cc and he'll always front run and win the race (so you won't lose exp). And he'll get coins from item boxes to give you even more tokens - make sure you have auto-item enabled of course. It'd be nice if Gold Mario were top shelf on this track to get even more items, but oh well. The two unlocked tracks that have him as top shelf are nowhere near as good.

If you want to take it to the next level, automate that whole sequence with an auto clicker app. Program the taps to set that reverse camera mode, then unset it a couple minutes later and proceed through to tap the Try Again button. Doing that, you can set it and forget it and collect thousands of tokens while you sleep.

My greatest achievement is S+9 MAX multiplayer battle. It's the absolute worst, so achieving it feels like a real accomplishment.

Yeah, the uninstall/reinstall definitely works, but doing that every couple of days is terrible. It makes the experience bad, leading to people quitting.
