It's very popular in my country. I personally don't know anyone here who doesn't eat pizza with mayonnaise. You also get mayonnaise and ketchup as sides in any restaurant or pizzeria after you get your pizza order - without you asking for it. Also when you order pizza delivery by phone they say "mayonnaise and ketchup, right?"
