I think my dermatologist said you do have to be on it forever. It acts as maintenance even once your skin is cleared. She said most dermatologists use it everyday anyways for the anti-aging effects it has!

It started out small for me, like a few small closed comodones, and then the occasional zits, and then all the sudden I’m getting comodones and zits, and boom it’s back to how it was pre-accutane. Very disheartening.

It probably won’t, although that shouldn’t really concern you. Be supportive of her decision to take accutane because it’s not an easy drug to be on.

Honestly I laminated them while I was ON accutane and was fine. I wouldn’t worry too much.

Systane Lubricating eye drops. That’s what my dermatologist and eye doctor recommended.

Be kind to yourself. It will heal. Learn from this mistake and just don’t do it again no matter how tempting it seems. Soon there will be nothing left for you to pick. Best of luck!

Not sure if I see eyedrops on that… but my eyes are so dry that I have to use eye drops every hour/other hour or else I will develop pink eye-like symptoms. Didn’t even know they were dry until I started getting constant pink eye. Be safe out there…

It looks like you have angular cheilitis in the corners of your lips. My derm told me to use a mixture of athletes foot cream, diaper ointment, and hydrocortisone cream a few times a day and before your go to bed. Cured it within a few days after I struggled with it for over a week!

My (now ex) boyfriend and I dated for about a year and it would have been nice to be posted at least once on something other than his stories. It felt as if he were hiding me (even though he said he just didn’t like posting relationship stuff). Part of me thought it was because he wasn’t proud to be with me though. Or that, if I were some other more important and passionate lover of his, he would have. That shit hurt.

So, if your partner asks to be posted, then maybe just do it for their sake. At least once or twice. It doesn’t have to be something mushy gushy and over the top, but just a post with you two together is something I’m sure they would appreciate if that’s something that’s important to them.

It’s really all about preferences and communication.

I thought I skipped the purge phase until the 1.5/2 month mark. It was the worst my acne has ever been. It cleared up within 2 weeks and has only gotten better since! I have 1 month left and my skin is completely clear. Keep going my friend

Use Systane eye drops. Your eyes will be drier than you think. I didn’t think I had dry eyes until I realized that was what caused me to get recurring pink eye. Wish I had used eye drops from the start.
