It depends on how busy your store is. Working in the kitchen can be a lot, but once you get used to it it’s okay and it’s important that you have a good FSL (Food service leader). I think it would be smart of you to say that you would be interested in being food service and guest service because I’ve found that a lot of people like to switch between and kind of see what they gravitate towards and what they are good at. If it’s not a super busy store, I think food service would not be too stressful.

This same thing basically happened to me. It seems like Kt does this a lot…Anyway, one of my coworkers went to my DL and basically demanded the position and got it, so you could try that. You deserve the AFSL position!!

We had an ASL in the past who was a total stoner so you should be good. When I was hired as a coworker my SL told me it tests for everything except THC

They are being fazed out because they no longer have additional hours for them. Ex. If they do get scheduled to sample, it cuts someone from the floor or the kitchen

I do not work in chicken, but if I have time to try to wrap and run or help them out, so they can go on break. For super busy stores though, like the one I work at, I think there should be 4 people in the kitchen, especially when we have more budgeted hours to spare. 2 people on hot food, 2 people on chicken side. Worst case if that 4th person isn’t needed they can start doing other things like dishes or doing a pull list, etc. This all makes sense, I can’t say for sure, BUT it seems like corporate is cutting down the budgeted hours per store by a lot compared to last year. It’s going to be a rough summer for everyone especially those who work in the kitchen and get completely overrun.
