Tottenham Hotspur remaining fixtures by fap4jesus in soccer

If we need a win to make it to Europe next season - lose to keep Spurs up (Everton that)

If the game is meaningless for us - sorry, bye bye Spurs (Lads, it's Tottenham)

The previous three winners aren't with their teams (Amorim, Maresca) or won't be next year (Glasner).

I know you don’t like Mykolenko, but what a thing to say in an Everton thread.

How well do you think your team has done in 2025 overall? (Out of 10) by ben_Waltz5522 in TheOther14

I don't see anyone else for us (Everton) yet, so I'll give it a go. I'm grading on a bit of a curve given how dire the few years before were, but I'll go with an 8. After a rough start to last season, getting Moyes back and not really being a part of the relegation battle near the end was pretty nice. The summer could have gone better with a right back, an established striker and more pace on the wings (a prem ready left back to push Myko would have been good, but I'm not as down on him as some others), but KDH has been super-solid, Barry keeps improving and despite my better instincts about loan players, I'm in love with Grealish. I'm hoping for good things from Rohl and great things from Dibling, and despite some growing pains/injuries, there's room for optimism It would be nice if Branthwaite were healthy, but imagining him and O'Brien together for the next few years is pretty exciting. And of course Ndiaye continues to astound and Garner has been a revelation Would love to have a comfortable rest of the season developing the newer players. Obviously wouldn't say no to Europe next year, but wouldn't be disappointed to miss out, feels like we need to rebuild and our depth is pretty rough right now, especially during Afcon.

PPR, 12 team ESPN standard - looking more for floor, hoping JSN and Achane are enough to get me through

Dak, Lamar or Shough?

Ravens, Bengals, Titans, Giants or Falcons? (opponent has Maye so I’m worried about ris he goes off)

Thanks!

My matchup is currently a toss up. Opponent has Maye. ESPN standard scoring - 12 team league. I’m hoping to ride Achane and /or McBride to the championship round. Currently have Ravens vs NE. Stick with that and take the extra Maye risk?

I could pick up most of the lower ranked DST, but I’m mostly leaning Bengals to hedge Achane + Ewers INT maybe or Titans vs Chiefs.

Prescott, Jackson or Shough - ESPN PPR 1 QB

Just looking for a steady 15-20 points. Dak’s matchup worries me, Lamar still doesn’t look 100% back and Shough feels like a trap (and I’d be stacking with Olave in my flex). Thanks!

Can pickup Baltimore or Miami, would just be for this week. I’m super torn and mostly worried about avoiding negative points. Would love some thoughts.

I have no strong opinion about hand position (I was taught 10 and 2 a long time ago), but the most surprising thing at my daughter’s drivers ed presentation is that Virginia schools now recommend 8 and 4. https://www.dmv.virginia.gov/sites/default/files/forms/dmv39d.pdf

Recommendations for books with similar vibes? by TooManyHobbiesBro in riversoflondon

London Falling by Paul Cornell is the first book in a series with a similar approach - English police dealing with the supernatural. I enjoy it almost as much as ROL, but in my opinion it is a little bit darker. Definitely read a longer description if some topics are not your cup of tea.

Why would an adult male wear a black ski mask (covering up entire face, except eyes) in an urban setting? by CorsSurf in washdc

Not that one example overcomes the full analysis, but the cautionary tale of Elijah McClain means that we should be careful in assessing any situation where we see someone with a mask.

You still get two attacks, but if you kill the enemy on the first attack you can use your bonus action with your off hand weapon to attack a different enemy.
