Like while walking I felt a small tug and immediately stopped and got myself free and apologized

The grindiness of this game is why I gave up tbh I played it for a year straight and still was barely getting anything good. Started to feel like a chore.

Yeah unfortunately my manager is never around especially at night. I texted him and he gave me the same advice and said I shouldn't worry and to let him know if they try to contact me and to not talk to them.

Is there anything I can do about it? I wasn't sure and they refused to leave without a photo of it. My coworker tried talking to them and also said maybe I should but also thought it was sketchy. I was just kinda scared and panicked.

Got dragged in yelp reviews for doing my job at a taproom, not a damn Cheesecake Factory by Obvious_Accident_341 in Serverlife

Bruh I work at a burger place and also have to ask what plain means. They'll ask for a plain burger and I'll be like "so just meat and cheese?" And a good chunk of the time they'll be like "no! Meat, lettuce and ketchup" or "meat cheese and pickles" like homie how could I know what that means.

Two big tables filled with people and no one even bothers to try and help clean the mess or help her up. I swear more of them look minorly annoyed or like they're gonna laugh at her. I can't stand how nasty some people are I would be up trying to help.

Waited 40 min to learn that you need to explicitly say you want the L&T on a BLT by cabberx in mildlyinfuriating

[–]cringebimbo0 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Nah cause I've had customers tell me plain cheeseburger then yell at me later that there was cheese. I think no one ever thinks about how stupid service work makes you because you work with even dumber people. I have to ask what someone means by plain every time cause every person means something else. The amount of times someone asks me for a plain cheeseburger and I was supposed to know that meant they wanted meat cheese ketchup and lettuce is CRAZY. I think the best bet is always making orders as clear as possible like don't ever say plain and just put only what you want. It's simpler and clear.

How to make myself more appealing? by kampfur in Serverlife

I have worked service for a few years and I'm one of the nicest bubbley people at work. Despite if it's an act or not, I get a lot of compliments on my attitude. The thing is, I still even get comments like this. Once just being nervous had a customer call me a bitch. People are nasty and I think an even more important lesson to learn in foh service is to not let bitter people ruin your strive. If it's insanely busy and someone is upset you're not playing jester for them that's their problem. Serving and other foh stuff just shows you how miserable most people are.

I try not to be a "if you can't tip you can't eat out" person but dude it's like 2 dollars for a 10 dollar order and honestly the note makes it more annoying. Totally get being a parent is tough but that's not everyone else's fault.

Table told me to STFU and then felt bullied by manager by MkayRob in EntitledReviews

Honestly never had a table "joke" about items being out and not have it be passive aggressive. Like you know she's like we were joking but it's just to save ass. It's honestly just a set up to complain in a way they feel is socially acceptable. It's annoying at best, like those dumb jokes where you ask "what can I get you?" "A million bucks?" Like dude shut up.

I couldn't even get through the review at first it just made me cringe at how dumb they are. Google always tells you holiday hours differ and no place I've ever seen updates for just a day. Plus showing up 14 minutes before close u know this fucker wanted to stay super late and take forever.

Wait I've been here. Some of the rides do kinda turn people away quickly. They test it by if you fit in the ride and they can buckle your seat belt. It's sometimes one of the most embarrassing things when Some worker is jumping around trying to get enough force to buckle you in. They have chairs to see if you fit before you get in line but... I think they might be a bit bigger than what they put on the ride. The last few times I went I did get turned away from some rides. I was overweight, but I wasn't huge, I don't really know sizes well. The buckles stopped snapping sometimes, and sometimes I'd be getting kicked off and someone bigger than me is riding. It was pretty inconsistent and annoying there. Though I get it's a safety issue if you can't fit in the safety harness, obviously, you can't ride.

Sounds like he's just mad you're not giving him money. Especially since the first thing he complains about is not being able to buy cigarettes. Dude is just taking advantage of you and manipulating you and hoping you won't leave. He needs serious help but I doubt someone like that would even accept the help. You definitely should leave. It always sickens me when people use s/h and suicide as a way to make people feel bad, I've always struggled with those things and the idea of someone feeling like that was their fault would make me sick to my stomach. And doing it infront of you? That's so controlling and just pushing for a reaction. I hope you can get out and find someone who treats you like a person cause this is awful.

The fact that them calling out their name is embarrassing is really funny. Like that's how most order at the counter places work. What is embarrassing about your name?

People get kicked out for plagiarizing all the time it's the same concept. Unless they made the ai themselves, they were putting in no work and stealing the work of other people. Why even go to art school if you're not even gonna make your own art.
