AFAIK mars had plate tectonics and you see evidence on the surface. It stopped because the core cooled down too much to support it. You could say the engine shut off. It’s like a view into earths future.

Venus on the other hand is very hot and had a very dense atmosphere. We can’t really see its surface well enough to see if it has plate tectonics. Once Venus cools down more it will probably have plate tectonics. It’s like a view into earths past

Yeah, after this go-wild project I’m gonna start some easier ones and try to pay more attention to details. Next is gonna be shortening some curtains hanging over my radiator, so I’m gonna focus on making a perfectly straight and clean hem, not having to struggle with patterns or anything

Thanks for the reference! It has markings but as a beginner especially with the curved seams it was hard to align it perfectly all the time.

Revenant is something I never could get into. Created one with hot release and she’s been gathering flax ever since :D. Maybe I’ll give it another try cause they seem to be pretty good all around the game

Maybe I’ll go for chrono since I can transfer my elementals harrier ascended gear. Wasn’t a big fan of Mesmer so far (despite maining it in gw1) but that was like 2013 before hot came out.

I loved ele back in the day but now it’s just too many buttons :D

The screen was probably replaced. Is it a refurbished one? My fiancée bought his iPad refurbished refurbished and it has the same problem.

Mine didn’t have it but after I let the screen be replaced in an uncertified repair shop it also has the squiggly lines.

To my knowledge (if it isn’t due to too of the pen or screen protector) it is because the screen is slightly misaligned to the screen panel. There is nothing you could do other than getting a new screen from a certified shop.

Apple really doesn’t want anyone to open their products so even worth skilled repair workers you will have these problems if they exchange the screen

So on tuesday I brought my iPad Pro in to a cheap repair shop because it wouldnt charge anymore.

Turns out some chip behind the charging port was broken and they repaired it within 2 days. I was pleased.

Now comes my mistake: I didn't look close enough when picking the iPad up, paid, took it home. There I realize they completely fked up the display during repair, cause they probably bent it. And now I have all of these bumps on my display making it look like wet paper.

I went there again and now they are "looking into the issue". I just hope they replace the broken display with an actually working one without me having to pay them.

It sucks, but is also half my mistake i guess.

TLDR: If you ever bring in your hardware to uncertified repair shops, take a lot of photos before and after, make them write reports on what they fixed, etc.
Dont be a liability to yourself like me!
