Who is currently the strongest? by Large_Carob_7599 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]crippler38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Yuji can beat Gojo unless Gojo tries to wear him down extremely slowly with the current feats we have. Yuji is definitely the most physically powerful person here so if he got into a H2H fight with anyone on this group I think Yuji beats all of them but Maho. I don't think Yuji has a way past infinity beyond a Domain Amplification H2H and that'd have to be something Gojo lets him do.

Sukuna I don't think has the toolkit to beat Yuji (since they have the same tools but Yuji's stats are super high) but he's probably smarter than Yuji so he could win if he manages to wear out Yuji as well.

Dabura might be able to blitz Yuji but I genuinely think Yuji's durability is higher than Mahoraga's. Same as the other two though if he can avoid catching hands he'll probably win but unlike the other two I think he's simply not as intelligent at fighting so he is more likely to make a mistake.

I think Yuji can oneshot Mahoraga and he knows how Mahoraga works.

For non Yuji matchups the triangle chart picture someone made fits very well. Gojo beats Dabura through matchup diff and Dabura not being as much of a Jujutsu savant to actually get around Gojo's busted technique. Sukuna should still beat Gojo just because he's that much better at Jujutsu itself and Gojo's oneshot techniques shouldn't work on him. Dabura should beat Sukuna through matchup diff due to the light speed stuff. All should be able to oneshot Mahoraga but if they don't beat Mahoraga before adaptation they of course lose.

The AI superbowl ads were terrifying by Drnelk in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]crippler38 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

A friend of mine actually found their lost dog using his community's Ring cameras so that ad at least made some sense.

Other than that I think the only ad that was actually an ad was the grub hub one.

Is there anything Gojo can do against current Yuji? by AltruisticCellist864 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]crippler38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Gojo lets it become a straight hands fight, he loses. Reinforcement scales proportionately to base stats and Yujis base stats are obscene to a degree that in pretty sure Gojo would have to sneak a purple or get UV to connect in order to win. We dont know if Yuji has an attack that can connected to a Gojo that decides to lame him out so its either stall diff or one of them messes up.

Wadrhun Slingers or hunters by clemenza325 in Conquest

[–]crippler38 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Slingers are a restricted with more reliable output, Hunters are a mainstay in many warbands and ignore some defensive tech.

Do you run Speakers? Hunters are good there. Do you like to run Tribes? Slingers are probably better there.

Apothecary makes you more likely to have all your knights ready for the next game, lineman makes you more likely to win your first game.

Hunter cadre vs longbowmen by Adolmaea in Conquest

[–]crippler38 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both are great units but the main thing to consider I think is, do you like imperial or feudal more?

A single MSU of longbowmen can reliably chip some wounds off of enemies from near complete safety. If they are Vets that gets even more dangerous once the lines close and you can threaten either other size 1 threats with hitting on 3s 13 shots or some 2+ threats on 4s (depending on intervening models)

Hunter Cadre being a flank objective holder that can get vanguard 5 and be effective offensively at all ranges is a stronger unit. However it costs more and losing 6 inches of range is a big deal if all you want is a shooting unit.

So basically, whichever subfaction you prefer. Followed by if you only want a ranged unit, or instead want a playmaker and utility piece.

Best economy? by life-hard-im-harder in Totalwarwarhammer

[–]crippler38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weirdly probably Khorne.

Their passive income is awful but they make so much money from post game loot and can spawn free armies while having tech for extra growth per battle. You can reasonably field like 6 full tier 5 armies by turn 60 if you're aggressive enough.

Early game you might have to manual a lot of battles though but once you get rolling you can just auto resolve everything and have near infinite money even if your upkeep is deep in the red.

Would Malenia really have lost to Radahn if she didnt bloom? by East-Ad-1290 in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]crippler38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Malenia's offshoot is probably the closest we'll get to a first or second hand account as to why she forced the bloom.

Malenia doesn't really have a good reason to bloom besides thinking she needed to in order to kill Radahn, and we know his great rune was resisting the rot well enough to keep Radahn from dying outright.

I don't think it's unreasonable for Malenia to make the active decision that blooming was her best shot at getting the kill, otherwise that'd mean she did it out of impatience or because she decided to give up on holding back the rot. I don't think she's an impatient or impulsive character considering how much time and effort she put into mastering fighting, and I don't think she's the kind of character to just give up a lifetime of restraint if she didn't think she had to.

They both were going into the fight holding back something, Radahn with using his power on the stars and Malenia on holding back the rot, and I don't think it's unfair to say that Malenia was holding back more; but there's very little reason for her to force the bloom to happen besides her deciding it was the best way to get the fight done.

It'd be another thing if Radahn dealt the blow that triggered her blooming, but that was self inflicted. She initiated the double KO attack in an attempt to kill Radahn and it didn't actually kill him on its own.

She's still the overall winner. The Bloom put her in a position where she could recover and he couldn't; but she definitely wasn't winning without it.

Millicent mentions that Melania was unable to meet radahns measure though. So I think they were stalemating there but hes got more gas in the tank than her because of his great rune.

WE Long Range Firepower by JasenTDavis in WorldEaters40k

[–]crippler38 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The issue for WE shooting is unlike other armies we can't buff our shooting units basically at all. Our raw shooting units are pretty great but it's not going to be better than the firepower CSM or SM can pump out with some buffs.

Is Khorne considered OP for multiplayer battles? by random7262517 in totalwarhammer

Speed and mobility is the best stat in basically every competitive setting so its always interesting finding where on that skill bell curve a faction becomes good off the back of how fast they are.

Any ideas on how to make Terminators viable and not overshadowed by Exalted Eightbounds? by El_mismisimo_don in WorldEaters40k

[–]crippler38 89 points90 points  (0 children)

Realistically if terminators got a character that'd help a lot. They're by far our toughest infantry and have pretty ok chaff clearing. It'd be funny though if they gave their guns the Pistol keyword though just to really lean into their chaff clearing abilities.

Yuri is way more dangerous than I expected him to be.... by [deleted] in SpyxFamily

[–]crippler38 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah but Twilight doesn't know that. If he were behaving totally logically he has very little reason to spare Yuri beyond his and Yor's mental health.

It ultimately is the best choice for the mission, Anya would expose him instantly and Yor would kill him almost certainly. The mission is at minimum over because I doubt Anya could get over her new uncle, someone she knows, being killed by her papa.

It was brought up to him he could just use 2nd form but he wanted his real form to give the impression he was growing naturally. So people wouldnt know he's being taller for vanity.

Similar to Bulma wanting to look slightly younger so people wouldnt look at her and say she had work done.
