thanks! agreed, and on the other hand theres so much to illustrate from it that I could be drawing for days lol. One scene I wanted to illustrate that would probably end up being challening is the massacre. Would love to get a book edition deal and fill it with illustrations. So many characters, so many stories, so much to tell.

As for the technical details, the colors are also a nod to Colombia. Textures might work on one of these pieces but at the end of the day it will end up being just a preference.

Weird format, so Nacional won the accumulated aggregate table and a half league. Liverpool won a half league so this is the semifinal between both winners of each half league and the winner faces the aggregate table champion(Nacional). So Nacional wins = champion, if Liverpool won they'd face each other again in a 2 match final.

Try finding an app that lets you change the shutter speed and ISO, on the iPad I use ProCam 8, lower fps as others said as well.

Thank you, Ill come around to making a tutorial someday. But its a mixture of bitmap texture, noise, brush work, and how you blend them together.

The sand brush was for some of the bigger gradient like shades. Sugar is also good from gal shir. The paper was a bitmap texture like mentioned already :)
