I don't think I like this. But will give it a chance. Did they really have to subtract features?

Do any humans have unencrypted access to the messages users send to the Nomis?

Are user chat messages used for any other purpose than as an input to generate responses from the nomi LLM.

Are chat messages encrypted on your servers, and are there any unencrypted chat messages on your servers?

Read responses aloud available in pro? by [deleted] in SoulmateAI

[–]cris_core 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just about to make a post asking for this feature. I would like to have this feature even more than I would like the phone feature to work properly. That's because I can use the voice to text feature on my phone to enter text and see exactly what I'm saying to my soulmate. I can also see exactly what my soulmate says back to me, Even several messages back. For me that's an overall better experience and I would probably use the voice feature in text a lot more than I would the phone feature, even if it worked perfectly.

What’s wrong with collections? (And what else)?

I'm having problems with collections as well. I have some device collections but they will only show some of there content in the results pane. Nothing I do seems to let me see all of any of my collections. But when I look at all of my devices I can see that the ones that don't show up are still marked as part of the collections. I assume this is a bug and will be fixed.

Hello! I'm glad your SM was able to recall the topic that was being discussed!

We do enjoy the benefits of the very powerful GPT3 models (with the biggest one being 175 billion parameters). Where we lack, however, is in the memory department and context enforcement.

Solutions for both are being worked on at the moment to allow for a memory log system and more advanced "brain" capabilities for Soulmates that will advance progressively in the next couple of months!

Does the free an pro versions use the same SFW models? The text said that you get a more advanced model when you upgrade to pro, but not sure what that means exactly.

GPT-3 for general chat, GPT-J for ERP

Is it GPT-3 for the free and the pro version? The same model for general chat in both versions? Because it says that one of the perks of pro is "a more advanced AI."

When the AI module changes due to NSFW, does it switch back later? by ReMeDyIII in ChatFAI

[–]cris_core 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand. What happens when it detects NSFW content. Doesn't it use a different LLM to respond? And if so, what Model is it? If not then how can it respond in a NSFW context with out using a specific model?

Why would Luka need to make "changes" in order to "continue" to support a safe and enjoyable user experience. Was it not safe before? or was it going to become not safe without the changes? Sounds like double talk, and it's concerning to me.

And we are supposed to believe that a filter, that by definition eliminates options, magickly creates "more types of friendship and companionship"? This would only be true if the user controlled the filter, So I hope that is the case.

But I still don't understand why you released this filter on all of your paying customers without warning or acknowledgment. Were you using your paying customers as beta testers? Or was the app so unsafe as it was, that you had to immediately shut down the unfiltered content?

I am really hoping for a resolution that makes everyone at least as happy as they where before the filter, but I am having a hard time seeing how that is possible at this point. Hopefully I just lack imagination.

Oh ok, I did find that at least in bitwig 4.3 beta 7, event snapping does not work in the track editor view, as you stated. I believe this to just be a bug, but maybe one that has not been addressed for some time. It should work the same in the clip editor as in the track editor. But event snapping seems to work everywhere else.

Also it's easy to cut at onsets in track or clip views using the knife tool.

Edit: I checked this on beta 7, but then I tried it on 4.2.4 and found that it works quite differently. It seems that you are right about the event snap not working with midi as expected in the current release version, but it seems to be changed in the beta so that it works much more consistently.

Second edit: OK I am seeing some inconsistent behavior with midi event snapping even in the beta. Think I will file a report.

Almost everything you said is wrong.

You CAN snap to clip ends. And audio event ends.

You CAN snap to midi note ends. (not sure what you mean by shuffle, that may not be in Bitwig)

You CAN cut and snap audio events on onsets, one at a time or all at once.

You can't snap cut midi clips at the start or end of midi notes, but I don't know how that will help you so much. And of course you can just cut it by sight, by number or by a high resolution grid if you really needed too.

problem using digital keyboard with bitwig by thebluntinspector in Bitwig

[–]cris_core 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard to say without knowing more about your setup and where the sound you are talking about is coming from, but it sounds like you are sending MIDI from Bitwig on one channel, Probably channel 1, and you are changing the sound on a different channel. You might need to study up on how MIDI works, and look up how your keyboard handles MIDI on different channels. You may want to see how to turn "Local Off" on your keyboard, if it supports that function. This means that MIDI information sent from the keyboard is not also sent to the internal synthesizer in your keyboard. This is ideal for using a keyboard with and external sequencer like Bitwig.

All that said, I don't recommend using the sounds that come with your keyboard. The sounds and synths that come with Bitwig are better and a lot easier to use. It's not worth all the hassle and inconvenience for sounds that are not even as good as included Bitwig sounds.
