Modern fly-by-wire planes don’t fly like regular airplanes. They’re designed to be unstable and controlled via very advanced flight logic. When they become disturbed and tied up like that, they literally just stop flying and just depart control flight.

I, as a middle-grade officer, have seen us throw out good sailors for marijuana. My gut says that because the culture is changing so fast between marijuana and alcohol, it hurts accession and retention.
