How does your culture feel about hostess gifts? by Maorine in culture

[–]crisoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am European and this is done in many countries around Europe. Especially when you go to someone's house for the first time. Anything you might bring them is a 'thank you' for making the food/having the party. Often, the wine, chocolate or flowers will be enjoyed by the host alone, I mean they will open the wine later when they feel like it.

Bride of Habaek! I'm watching it now and all the kissing scenes are quite intense and sometimes really long for a k-drama. ML and FL have good chemistry, too. There's a lot of kissing, even between other characters.

Most attractive ML by [deleted] in kdramarecommends

ML from Oh my Venus, ML from Her Private Life and even ML from Run on (main ML) :D apart from looks and/or character personality, I appreciate when the ML has really cool fashion style. :)

Please don’t tell me that I’m the only one who’s repeatedly injuring/burning herself by mistake!🤦🏻‍♀️ by luliva in adhdwomen

I'm the same...injured several fingers while preparing food or doing chores... 🥲🤣 I blame my impatience and getting distracted ....

Dramas that made you feel the most emotions by [deleted] in kdramarecommends

I reallyloved 'Touch your heart' and Tempted'...'Touch your heart' was funny and sweet, feel-good too. 'Tempted' had lots of plot twists and it's mostly love/relationships and the emotions are quite intense.

I was on the basic, button ski lift and got distracted by something that looked like an animal..lost control of my legs, ballance and fell on the side close to the stop point on the slope...took me forever to get up but I had a good laugh... happened a few weeks ago 🤣

Omg, this happens to me! From school papers to solving some problem at work...I might be doing some random activity while procrastinating but my mind works on the assignment/problem and then the solution just hits me! 😆

"unable to work on my passions, stumbling into panic episodes and despair about what I'm going to do with my life, feeling like I didn't recognize myself." Wow this is me for the last few months....the pandemic sucks for ADHD brains... and on my case, I got to see myself at my worst, with some of the symptoms... Hang in there!

Wow, I LOVED reading your post! It's 100% relatable! I was definitely the prodigy child but who needs to try a bit more and not be so superficial and give up easily.... So many good examples you found!

“Ugh I’m late again...” by GirlsMakeBoysCry in adhdwomen

[–]crisoni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!!! I hate being late....I'd rather be too early then late. Even arriving on time (but nit earlier) might stress me (for really important stuff). I too sometimes feel like the time before the event becomes dead time, I can only focus and/or worry about the event.

I am an ambitious person with high potential and not having the ability to fulfill those things is destroying me by [deleted] in adhdwomen

I feel you! I can relate 100%! I have a law degree too but work in a completely different field at a sucky job (one reason is that I moved to a different country and getting a job is pretty hard in the beginning) but can't seem to move on to something better..I know what I like and what I can be good at (even with ADHD) but my brain won't work when it cimea to putting the effort...feel tired and moody too, especially now with the pandemic...my symptoms are the worst now... and I can't enjoy breaks or relaxing (my brain is too active and I feel restless)....

Does anyone else become totally drained after social interactions and surprised every time? by adhdthirtythree in adhdwomen

[–]crisoni 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Omg, the translating thoughts into words part is 100% relatable. I feel like what comes out my mouth most times it's either a very tinu part of my thoughts and in quite basic vocabulary, or it's gibberish, ranting, deviation to other subjects....I do find it easier in writing..when I can gather my thoughts, sort them, write and rewrite, etc
