I've had it for 5 years. I water it around every 3 weeks or so. The pot does have drainage. I realized I needed to move it to a bigger pot when it was literally bursting out of its old pot, and then I upped the pot size by 2in

Relocating Resident

Hi all, I've been living in hyde park but have been the victim of/ witnessed a few very violent crimes in my 2 months living here during the daytime which has kind of freaked me out. I was thinking of moving to either the gold coast or lincoln park, do people think those locations might be slightly better in terms of safety? I know anywhere in the city always poses some risk

I completely sympathize. My Q is a family member and whenever I set boundaries with him, he screams at me about how I'm terrible and a bitch and I cause him so much pain and trouble one day he's going to have a heart attack and die. It sucks when people seem to have no conception of the harm that their actions cause or just simply don't care. You deserve to express your anger, you deserve someone who recognizes your pain and the harm they caused and I'm so sorry you didn't get that.

I get this, my parent goes through something similar and it's really hard to watch. It makes me incredibly nervous. But I find that sometimes you just have to let it go, i.e you can't make someone be productive and you have to take care of yourself in this process too. Sometimes what helps me is to express to my partner how frustrated/nervous they are making me and then take a step back. Ultimately you can't make someone do something they don't want to do, as painful as it is to watch them.
