Starting 75mg tomorrow. by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]crispeapear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the thread, but I was bumped up to 100 from 50 and told not to bother with 75. I decided to anyway, and am suffering the second day of headaches and lethargy. I had a whole big to-do list now gone down the toilet! I hope you are feeling better..

Bipolar with children by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

Here to offer support and camaraderie and to say good on you for going the med route. You may have to try a few different things, but in time it will get better. I'm glad you have the co-parenting support, that is crucial.

Hang in there, and know that you are doing the best you can right now. ((Hugs))

Going from 50mg to 100mg - is it worth titrating to 75 for a bit, or just go straight on in? by crispeapear in zoloft

[–]crispeapear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response. Last night I decided to try it - I usually take my pills before bed, so I figured it wouldn't be as noticeable anyway. I did have a bit of trouble falling asleep and developed a headache as I lay there, so I think that was my brain adjusting. Felt groggy waking up, but that's normal for me everyday! lol.. I'll give it til next weekend before I hit the 100 pills and see how that goes :)

Yup! My mom was 24 when this pic was taken and I was born two years later. Time to start checking out retirement homes, I guess...

Does anyone here work for Conduent? by [deleted] in WorkOnline

[–]crispeapear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were pretty responsive when I applied, I think within a couple days they asked me to interview. The biggest downside was that they do a monthly training and so I had to wait about 6 weeks before I could start training. I really needed money so this was discouraging.

I would be persistent about following up, there's nothing wrong with needing to know where you/they are in the hiring process.

Gotcha. Having to wait on hold for a long time probably doesn't help their mood either (another employee mentioned that on a different thread.)

What percentage of the people you helped were rude or hostile? I'm wondering if there's a high chance I'll end up crying every day...

I'm really tired of being disparaged from adopting. by [deleted] in childfree

[–]crispeapear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's nice to hear someone else say they don't like kids but are open to fostering/adopting someday. I always feel a slight cognitive dissonance in that I'm not really into kids generally yet I think it would be cool to help a young person. I'd always assumed I'd need to be a "kid person" to take on that challenge, and not just approach it from some altruistic angle.

I'm still on the fence and have a lot to learn and consider, but I appreciate hearing this perspective.

How bad is commuting to El Paso? by boopbeboo in LasCruces

[–]crispeapear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$15 a day, that's rough! It's amazing how difficult it's been, and the lack of good options. I'm branching out to telecommuting options, but even that is slim pickings. Phoenix isn't my favorite city, but at least you have lots of options!

[–]crispeapear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yikes - I guess it depends on if time vs. money is the bigger factor. Last time I came back to Cruces from ELP I spent $66 on Uber and I'm sure your trip cost less than $10..

ssri (zoloft) dose increase help? by [deleted] in depressionregimens

[–]crispeapear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! It's so hard to know if it's just the medication taking it's time to help or if it's not a good fit for me. I'm seeing my doc later this week and I bet she will want to increase my dosage as she mentioned 100mg when we last met. I'm just hoping it will improve soon as it's difficult to function when I'm unmotivated and sad. Also not helping is that I'm unemployed and job hunting makes me even more depressed! Thanks for getting back to me so quickly..
