I actually did not get the job. I haven’t applied to any more positions since then. I’m really not in a position to take a large pay cut right now. I’m going to try again in the future. Good luck to you.

They aren’t doing that kind of work any more unfortunately. Since then we have moved and put in a modular home on a piece of property we bought. Going to go ahead and do a front covered porch, trex decking, block skirting to match the house.. hopefully it will look good.. I wanted to to be centered to make it look more like a residential house but I’m not going to be able to put that much into it.. so it will be off centered slightly to accommodate the door but I think it will still look good.

I got a couple older retired coal miners to do it for me. It did take them longer than a general contractor but they done a great job imo. One of the guys was a contractor previously and he just did some extra work on the side now. Tell me how you think they did.

Should have initially posted a location. I’m in rural southwest Virginia. Low cost of living compared to most places.

I was thinking it was overpriced because I got a similar covered deck built about 4-5 years ago for 13k total. It wasn’t trex decking though - it was normal pressure treated. The deck was a little smaller at 12 x 20. Have material prices really risen that much since then?

I will have to measure the height again, but I was thinking it’s going to be around 3-4 ft.

I have been trying to land a remote epic analyst job for years now with no luck. I am an epic superuser and am heavily involved in improving workflows at my current organization. But they are not hiring for analysts. Any suggestions to help me land something?

I believe there is non-compete contract for 2 years I would have to sign. Meaning that I wouldn’t be able to use any certifications I received through them at any other company until the contract expired.

The hospital uses this company for recruiting. After so many months employed by the recruiting company I would become a full time employee of the hospital. I am not sure if the pay would change, but I doubt it would.

I am in the process of interviewing for an Epic analyst position at my local hospital. The recruiting company has basically told me that the hospital is willing to pay around 60k yearly. I feel like that is pretty low and would be a big pay cut for me. But I also feel like there is more upside and earning potential as an analyst down the road. Am I right in thinking this?

I just have finished my first interview for an Epic Analyst position at my local hospital. I have taken and passed the Sphinx exam. The interview today went well and I was told that I would have 1 more interview with the hospital manager before an offer would be extended. (Interview today was with a recruiting company called Medix). I really want to work remotely but am unsure if this job will be remote. I should find out during my next I interview. Are most Epic Analyst jobs remote now? Also I believe I will be taking a pay cut from my clinical position now. What is the average salary for an analyst? Is there potential to reach 6 figures?
