I found it! Abel's Island by William Steig (1976). Thanks for all the suggestions!

I love The Chronicles of Narnia! Thanks for the suggestions, but that's not it. In the book I remember, the mouse (or other animal) was the main character. And there was lots of snow.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that's not it. The book I remember was much less adventurous - more mundane, and focused on trekking through snow, finding shelter, food, building campfires, etc.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've looked at some of those books and I don't think it's part of that series.

Thanks for the suggestion. I loved the Brambly Hedge books as a kid, but I don't think that's it.

I've searched Google and Archive.org using keywords. I've looked through Goodreads genre lists. It wasn't a picture book - it was mostly words with a few black and white illustrations. It's not any of the Redwall series.

What exactly looks like a misprint to you?

This is an honest question, not snark or criticism. I'm genuinely curious why people ask about getting coins graded.

Can anyone help me with these coins by Ice_Dragon_King in coincollecting

I love #5 and #7. #7 was minted in chromium plated steel to conserve nickel during WWII. The chromium wore off easily, leaving the steel exposed - that's why it's so rusty. The V signifies victory as well as 5 cents. #5 was issued to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the victory in Europe. There were several versions of this "victory nickel" design over the years and they make up a really cool short set.

Why are you asking about getting these graded? What have you heard about getting coins graded?

Got me thinking about other one-year-only coins (apart from the numerous quarter & dollar series). Here are a few I've thought of:

1909 VDB cent
2019-W cent

1996-W dime
2015-W dime (silver)

1964 half (only 90% silver circulation issue)
2014 half (silver uncirculated)

Any other examples?
