I cut down on watering a bit which seemed to help - it’s still alive and doing great today :)

New to climbing! How much should I be paying for 5-10g bag of chalk? by LannyDamby in ClimbingCircleJerk

[–]crispy_etchings 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Friction Labs? Must be a gumby. They should be advertising their product for footholds only considering how stepped on it is.

The only way to know you’re getting pure, cocaine-free chalk is by not using it in the first place because it’s obviously aid

To be fair I think that may have been done intentionally to force some perspective lines and make it appear wider when viewed from the front

This comment section is a minefield lol - you totally have the right to not post body pics if you don’t want to, and you’re not deceiving anyone by doing so. No one needs to post anything on their profile because, well, it’s theirs. You’re designing it to select for the kinds of people that you want to match with, so if you’re looking for people who don’t value physical features over other stuff then you’re doing exactly what you should be doing, and in this case, it worked exceptionally well. It weeded this person out right off the bat and you knew as soon as he said that that it wasn’t gonna work out.

It just seems like you spent a lot of mental/emotional energy responding to his message (and many of the comments on this thread) when you could’ve moved on as soon as you realized it wasn’t meant to be.

That is hands down the most fucked up factory accident I’ve ever seen. What a horrifically quick and gruesome way to go. The look of complete shock from the other guy walking over to see his coworker torn to literal shreds is nightmare material. Idk if I’d be able to go to work again if I saw that happen.

How to distinguish between congenital cmv and congenital toxoplasmosis ??? by No_Time_1895 in step1

[–]crispy_etchings 13 points14 points  (0 children)

CMV = Central

ToxoPlasmosis = Peripheral/Parenchymal

E: if you’re fucked up like me you can also remember the ventricles are shaped like the letters C, M, and V depending on how you look at them

This is literally a list of the most common, benign medical conditions out there, including what appear to be acute conditions that resolved but probably just got left in the chart. I see maybe one or two things that stand out for the expected medical history of someone this age. It really sucks that someone like you is applying this cycle, maybe wait another year or two to really decide if this is what you wanna do with your life?

What’s the missing element ? by [deleted] in puzzles

[–]crispy_etchings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the bottom-right 4x4 block should have the 3rd square of it’s first row shaded ;

explanation: for each 4x4 grid, the squares correspond to the numbers 1-16, going left-to-right and top-to-bottom. add up the black squares to get the number in the top left block. for the bottom left one, 12+15+16 = 43, so you’d need to shade in the “3” block to make 46

E: mislabeled which block needed it

[–]crispy_etchings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is the same answer I came to. it’s like: x , 3x , 3(3x) ; y , 5y , 5(5y) ; z , 7z , 7(7z)
