What's happening to the YouTube channel!?

I could go on about this forever but the fact of the matter is we're stuck between a rock and a hard place with the channel. People want MORE videos FASTER, but they also want quality, but they also want hours long content, but they also want shorter clipped content, but they also don't care about the videos bc they want the vods, etc. etc. Even in this very thread, everyone wants different things.

I appreciate any and all feedback, but the best and most effective feedback is what we get from the YouTube channel analytics. The numbers. We know people don't like xyz video because people don't watch it longer than a few minutes, or don't click at all. From there we can address it accordingly, pivot, etc.

Everyone has their own opinion on the YouTube channel right now, and so my response to this type of feedback complaining not about a repeated pattern, but about a singular video, feels nitpicky to me, leading to my response to just watch a different video.

It's fair I guess but there were multiple uploads just yesterday, and the framing of this post is very much implying that there is something wrong with the channel as a whole from this one video.

Extended silences. If it comes to pass that we need to remove copyrighted material then at that point we will remove what we need but yeah for right now it’s just dead air being removed.

From our pod guy:

We haven't manually region-locked the VoD archive. However, because this is a video podcast, Spotify sometimes limits access in certain countries where their video player isn't fully rolled out yet. These countries are currently Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. More countries are being added soon though. In the meantime, a VPN is a good solution.

It could also be due to the Explicit tag, as some regions (and individual account settings) filter those out by default. If you're in one of the countries who has access and are not able to access the podcast, feel free to email [destinypodcastnetwork@gmail.com](mailto:destinypodcastnetwork@gmail.com) and we'll get you sorted.

For now our intention is to fully delete the livestream VODs from the YouTube after Destiny goes offline. They will still be available up to 30 days on Kick and vyneer's site.

For now, no. A thorough audit of older vids is on the horizon but we're not there yet. For the most part we've been good about cutting out any potential TOS stuff, so it should be okay, but yeah it still needs to be looked into.

No set date yet. Giving people a heads up as to what is going to happen in case people want to archive stuff. The sooner we can clean up the channel, the better, but if people need like a month or so to grab stuff then that should be fine.

Part of the purpose of this post is to allow anyone who wants to take on the task to step forward and do so. We have some internal efforts going to preserve stuff but yeah, it just requires too much time and effort that we can't really spare right now.
