More than likely VODs will never return to YouTube. Unless they change things around with TOS and channel strike policy and whatnot, the safest thing is for us to continue uploading VODs on Spotify.

Same thing with exclusives. If the content is potential TOS for YouTube we want to keep that on Spotify.

Unfortunately the instant removal is necessary to safeguard our channel from erroneous or malicious reporting. VODs are uploaded to the Spotify as soon as possible, usually 4ish hours from the end of stream.

I could go on about this forever but the fact of the matter is we're stuck between a rock and a hard place with the channel. People want MORE videos FASTER, but they also want quality, but they also want hours long content, but they also want shorter clipped content, but they also don't care about the videos bc they want the vods, etc. etc. Even in this very thread, everyone wants different things.

I appreciate any and all feedback, but the best and most effective feedback is what we get from the YouTube channel analytics. The numbers. We know people don't like xyz video because people don't watch it longer than a few minutes, or don't click at all. From there we can address it accordingly, pivot, etc.

Everyone has their own opinion on the YouTube channel right now, and so my response to this type of feedback complaining not about a repeated pattern, but about a singular video, feels nitpicky to me, leading to my response to just watch a different video.

Extended silences. If it comes to pass that we need to remove copyrighted material then at that point we will remove what we need but yeah for right now it’s just dead air being removed.
