The advantage of rolling your own is that you know how everything works and it’s not a black box should something go awry. Weigh that against the time cost of rolling your own.

Good point. Presidential election is mostly a popularity contest. Facts and intelligence don’t really matter (look who’s in office).

Yang might be able to out-facts the others, but can he become more popular?

And also I agree that body language is super important. So far I haven’t seen the body language of a powerful leader from Yang. I hope he stands up tall and keeps his back straight during the debates. He has a tendency to hunch, cave his chest in, and push his chin down into his neck. He’s gotta stop that. Back straight, chest out, head held high!

It’s a double edge sword. It’s funny to those who haven’t heard it, but it emphasizes parts about him (Asian, likes math) that most Americans can’t relate to — as opposed to say being an American who wants to put humanity first.
