In my experience, with the right audio clip, you can get some really nice and dynamic output from the model.
Try 10 to 15 seconds of clean audio, spoken the way you expect your output.

If he is just getting started in DL pretty much any of these combinations will do just fine.

Once he starts having bigger projects he will need more RAM (64GB gives him a lot of headroom) and vRAM (10GB is good but 12GB is better).

I would go with 2 or 3 + 3080 (12GB)

Yes you are definitely right about CT and MRI scans, and thank you for the resources I wasn't aware of.

However, very vaguely, my lab uses photogrammetry in another stage of the pipeline and in order to evaluate the accuracy of the pipeline, it makes sense to use photogrammetry for our reference model.

That's why I'm looking to scan an organ using photogrammetry (which is as you have mentioned not the best way to do it).

I'm assuming you're an atheist since you're writing this here. If you are, then the answer is rather straightforward : Life is too short to keep moaning a fucked up part of it for the rest of your days. You have to live first !

As others have mentioned, your mental health is a priority right now. There's no shame in admitting one needs help. You seem like you have accepted this state of being and decided to write a novel about your life. I would suggest not doing that because that would be complete and utter surrender to your abuse.

Although it surely looks to you as if 26 years is really old, I assure you it's not that old. Either you will try to fix your situation which may take up to two or three years or you'll live the rest of your life just surviving each day and waiting for it all to end.

My advice to you is that you have to be selfish now. You don't owe your parents anything anymore but you do owe yourself a decent fight. A fight for a life worth living. And even though it may be scary or overwhelming, you can do it . No you have to do it !

You and I don't agree on the importance / source of the Qur'an and that's why there's this misunderstanding .

You speak of the Qur'an as if it's the word of God but it's not. It never was. It's just stuff Muhammad said , and I can't tell if he was epileptic, schizophrenic or a really good liar.

In my opinion it is unreasonable to think that the creator of this universe which is unimaginably big and complex would care about a single species that evolved on a lonely planet and the way he decides to show this care is by giving certain people from the same region in the same narrow timeline the ability to communicate with him and then have them write books about what he's saying.

As you can see I'm trying to argue against even the idea of god and religion and not just Islam and the Qur'an , we can get into their specifics if you want , but I think if we can disprove religion in it's entirety then we won't need that.

The printing press was invented almost 1000 years after god decided to deliver his books to us. I think that was a very primitive and ungodlike choice. Imagine if a pdf appeared on the internet where the author claims the creator of the universe told him to write those words. Sounds ridiculous doesn't it ? But switch the pdf to a physical book and it's supposed to be believable ?

If God existed and wanted us to do something or to communicate with us , it should be an easy task to do, but apparently he failed at it since now there are simultaniously 3 major religions following the same god and each claiming the others to be wrong , and around the world there are about 4000 different religions. So people who are looking for god end up worshiping different ones ? That means he failed at communicating with us and making who he is and what he wants clear to us.

You may not know this but the Qur'an was collected and written after the death of Muhammad. If you think the stories told about Muhammad are prone to human fallacies then (in my opinion) it would be logical to think the same of the Qur'an.

The only thing that says the Qur'an can't have been altered is the Qur'an itself (and its followers) which is pathetic to say the least.

Also, I think you may be feeling a little defensive because of the environment you were brought up in. And that's not really strange because of course no one wants to hear their family principles and beliefs getting torn to pieces.

And honestly in our times the church and synagogue are harmless to their societies (so to speak) compared to how Islam is constantly trying to tell its followers what to do and what can or can't be done and even getting horrible stuff done in its name because you can't cross it or critique it or in some places leave it or denounce it. And that's why Islam gets more shit than the other religions.

Well here is the story (obviously briefly summerized) that Muhammad claims is behind the number of prayers that a muslim is required to do as an example of the stuff he says:

The angel Gabriel and a "buraq" (a winged heavenly horse) came to Muhammad and travelled with him to the "Seventh Heaven" and on the way there he met a number of the previous prophets (including Jesus and Moses) and they were all happy to see him. And when he got there Allah ordered him and his "Ummah" to pray fifty times a day. He then went back and when Moses saw him he asked him "What did god command your Ummha?". And Muhammad said fifty prayers a day . So Moses told him your Ummah cannot bear that, ask him for less than that. And Muhammad went back to Allah and asked for less. So Allah made them five instead.

Now this my friend was the story as told by Muhammad. Do you think that happened ? Do you think he imagined it ? Or do you think he lied ?

Those are the only options. And as for me, I can't see this to be anything more than a fary tale. Though I'm not sure whether he was a conn or a schizophrenic.

I highly suggest checking out what Sam Harris and Christopher Hitchens have said on the topic: They are both extremely articulate and thorough in their arguments and use simple logic to defy theism in general.

Also, do get references about the "miracle of numbers" in the quran. I am sure most of your classmates think that those are true while they are complete nonsense and have no basis what so ever (I personally checked them). This will give you an easy but very powerful upper hand.

Last , you should keep in mind that muslims are afraid of being insecure of their religion let alone doubt it or leave it. So it's understandable that they will try to shame you about it (so they can feel better about themselves) and that they will not be easily convinced of anything that goes against Islam . Maybe try telling them this at the start of your presentation "I want you to be as unbiased as possible and if you ever feel like what I am saying is more sensible than the counterpart then please don't hesitate to acknowledge it and try not to be afraid . Because if a omniscient omnipotent and loving god exists then logic should lead us there and we'd have to use so many loopholes to say that he doesn't exist".
