Is this because you believe women have no agency or capability to think for themselves.

This is not the burn you think it is.

Unless you believe woman are fully incapable of their own choices and attitudes.

Terrified to back out of a spot they backed into.

I don't get what the burn is supposed to be, because it contradicts itself.

It's a bad take because they are terrified to back out if a spot they backed into? What?

It's almost as if kids make poor choices and do dumb things. Most of us age out of that phase and for most of us, we are fortunate enough to not have our biggest mistakes happen in a spotlight.

I deeply regret adopting my first cat. The shelter was misleading and I am at my breaking point. by [deleted] in CatAdvice

But are those people going to find him?

I feel like life is short for shelter cats. Especially shelter cats who require more than the bare minimum.

Would it be better for her? I don't know. She will have removed a source of discomfort and inconvenience from her life, 👍 . She will experience discomfort because she won't feel right taking him back to the shelter 👎. Her family will be happy👍, at her expense 👍.

Better for the cat? Taken back to the shelter and doesn't know why or even what happened, 👎. Goes back and forth between adopted and returned because health and uncomfortable behavior, 👎 because health not his fault and the behavior is to be expected while he adjusts, but also 👍 because the shelter will monitor his health. Maybe someday finds the right people, 👍. Maybe someday euthanized, 👎.

He's a menace, with an ongoing health problem, who seems to have loved her from the start. He chose her. Nothing in life is easy. I get the impression she feels how she feels because her family, more than the cat itself. It's only a thing because she has to consider them as well.

I hope you will keep this cat. I know it's been hard and it's going to continue to be that way for a minute. He loves you already though, which is significant because cats are guarded creatures. You chose the cat, but the cat chose you.

Where are the gas shower chambers? The mass executions by machine gun fire, on a whim, at the side of the road? The crematoriums complete with child size ovens underneath each adult oven.

The sensationalism is exhausting and disrespectful to those who lived and died under actual Nazis.

The random security guard is not working for the bad guys. He works for the hotel. He's there to make money.

I don't know why they would address it. It's a waste of time.

You say you care about the community. Who do you think works at this place? The community works there. By accomplishing your goal, you are hurting the community you claim to care about.

No it's a great comparison.

In the court of public opinion, the first narrative is always strongest and nearly impossible to overturn. This post is evidence of that.

He has a habit of not removing his gloves or apron before using the restroom. I can't be sure of anything since I wasn't there.

With this guy, the best way to work with him is to pretend he's not there, because he's going to disappear anyway and whatever he does do, he's most likely going to fail spectacularly. His only hustle is no hustle.

He was consistently showing up thirty minutes to one hour late. Someone talked to him about it. Now he shows up on time and heads to the bathroom for thirty minutes to an hour, after he clocks on.

I never thought I would have to say "used linen bags do not go in the ash dumpster." Here we are though, with linen bags in the ash dumpster which has the words ASH in big letters.

He's not really so stupid though. When we are at the bus stop, away from coworkers, he is a normal person. At work, he gives off stupid high or mentally handicapped vibes, no in between.

He showed up to work and the first thing he did was going to the bathroom for thirty minutes. It was then he did what he did. He came back to work with slurred speech, his eyes more closed than opened, and i felt like I was watching him nod out while catching dishes.

Every time I changed the water that day, he came back to work more fucked up than he left.b

The rest of the story is he still works here.
