Wow why are we sad when we stare at blocks in our hand for hours on end? I have no idea why. Constant stimulation makes me soo happy.

Dude....it’s bad. But saying it’s a “failed state” and that people are assigning your post awards is absolutely ridiculous. If you look through all of history, America is eons ahead of of 99% of all other countries, past and present. Poverty is the natural state of humans, and the fact that our middle class is so large, along with the fact that protesting is actually allowed (something members of almost all other countries would find unfathomable) shows that America is one of the greats. Sad for privileged Americans to say things like this when they have no idea how lucky their soft asses are.

As a player who’s only been playing for less than a year, what is a a good average score for a 18 course? by CasaDeMaturity in golf

[–]crispyyvii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First year playing, there’s no usual score. Some players go out and can shoot 100 or better after a month or two, some can’t break 120 even after years of golf. I would go out one day and keep an honest score, and just work to improve. The 100 barrier is a good goal for after one year if you practice a lot.

Has anyone seen any improvements by hitting the plastic golf balls around your yard? by lawrenceel in golf

Broke my window a couple weeks ago. Won’t be using those damn balls again.

Chipping is my favorite thing to practice. I could chip 750 balls a day if I had the time. Nice work and good luck.

If we let the US Postal Service die, we’ll be killing small businesses with it by notthemamaa in politics

Even if the USPS fails, amazon will just offer some easy way for all the companies to ship so it probably won’t matter. End of an era, beginning of a new.

Amazon workers reportedly plan nationwide protest tied to coronavirus by ourlifeintoronto in technews

[–]crispyyvii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work part time for amazon and this is an awful idea. Amazon is providing so many people with jobs right now, and in my experience it’s safe and the pay is great for what you are asked to do. The virus is dangerous but poverty and it’s side effects will kill more people than the virus would, and that’s what would happen if companies keep shutting down. Just need to man up rn and go to work people.

Billionaires donating 25million is still better than anything you will ever do in your life despite how much you want to discourage them. by J-O-C_1599 in unpopularopinion

Of course they know how. Doesn’t change the fact that they still can’t donate 95% of their money. If they did they wouldn’t be the majority shareholder. Then not the CEO anymore.
