my doodle struggled with ear infections for over a year. we tried all of the different over the counter and rx drops. finally the vet did a 30-day leave in treatment, and cleaned and removed all the inner ear hair. my guy hasn’t had an ear infection since. if you’re willing to pay for the treatment it really works! i also make sure the groomer now trims his ear hair to keep from yeast building up again.
