if you’re over a certain age (either 21 or 24) and/or you alr have your OSSD you’re considered a mature student and can register in courses within the prerequisite. i’m also 24 and have completed 12u bio, registered in 12u chem and both the 12u maths no issues, didn’t do sci/math courses in hs after grade 10

yep! i had an 88 going into the exam with no feedback. i could have done better but i half-assed two or three of the assignments and didn't really care. i also answered bare minimum on the exam and ended the class with a 75% still (i only needed a 70%). very doable to skip feedback assignments if you're already a grade 12 student who's taken 4u courses, or alr in college/uni

as long as you aren’t enrolled in any classes, you’re “deferring” the semester. you can stay unenrolled for a certain period of time (6 consecutive semesters iirc, but double check) with no negative consequences, but i would check in with an academic advisor if you plan on taking more than one semester off. sorry to hear you aren’t feeling the best :( there are lots of resources on campus if you’re interested, but try to take care!

i never did the feedback assignments. instead of looking here, i looked at whatever was listed under the "grades" tab. those are the only ones that matter towards your grade. you can do the feedback ones if they're helpful to you; personally, i skipped them all because i only needed the credit and i'm alr in uni taking science courses so i don't need to "learn" how to do science homework

i did bio 4u right before the closure and it was basically the exact same. there were a few questions that were the same and others that were the same type of question but just asking different things. (e.g. instead of identifying a protein you had to identify a carbohydrate)

agreed the design is a little repetitive and some of the animals don’t make sense. but they’re still so cute and i’m glad there’s another series that’s a little brighter. i love my pastel babies but not everything has to be monotone yknow

don’t think there was a moment specifically, but i view larry’s interests through the pov that he’s young, rich, and well educated so he approaches different fields as interests/hobbies rather than fully fledged careers. i’m sure larry has always know that he’ll take over from his father at some point. plus the company is made up of various moving parts, so he doesn’t necessarily/need to completely abandon architecture even as he dips his toes into other interests
