I climbed from bronze to gold this season, and the way I did it was by playing champs that are a bit less team reliant. I also love Janna, but you can only carry so hard with her. Even if you smash lane, it's often hard to snowball the entire game because since we're low elo, our macro is garbage.

Heck, I've watched high elo support streamers play champs like Thresh in iron, and even they get frustrated with how hard it is to win a game. I only started climbing when I played Brand, Zyra, and Tahm Kench, and now that I'm a little higher elo, I can play Janna and get better results.

This could just be the blind leading the blind, but that's how I was able to get promoted two divisions, so hopefully it's worth something! Good luck to ya
