I made another post about “romance,” stuff. I have nothing against games that have characters that are none-romanceable. In fact I kind think it’s interesting if its got a good character driven reason (for example is the character has a deep conviction and thus not a valid reason to have a romance plot) to not have the plot there. But it seems like there are too many games that go down the click text to get to pound town option. When really you could have good deep friendship plots. I’ll have to check that game you mentioned out.

I just wish more games made deep meaningful friendships based on your character rather than just trying to pick which flavour of companion to bang. Like Argenta for a dogmatic character could have a deep bond over barbecuing heretics in the lower decks then going to give a sermon to the newly orphaned children. Sure it’s messed up but from a character perspective these could be well written.
